Players will lead the resistance as Commander Astra, a renowned female commander whose combat abilities match her exceptional command skills. As Commander, you build the defense and tactical offensive structures necessary to protect the mainland and construct a mechanized army. This will be the cornerstone of your effort to push back against the monstrous beings of the void. You will have to leverage your tactical skills to fortify against the alien creatures as they rapidly push through the defenses we have constructed. They will not tire of storming the furthest boundaries of our civilization and will destroy all of our efforts if we let them.

This game is all about using your resources, assets and troops, to place optimal defense. You have artillery and shields. Troop deployment is tricky because all challenges are designed to be difficult (and they are). This game requires a high level of caution because the enemy will come at you endlessly and with different challenges every time.

While this is a battle of courage, a long drawn out battle of attrition cannot be won without a good supply line. It takes a lot of resources to run the equipment and maintain the shields. To sustain strength of the army, it is up to the player to collect new resources. Rare minerals are collected from defeated enemies. This is the rare currency to the defense efforts and used for research. The Commander can upgrade the modern military defensible equipment further through research using captured alien technology and goods.

There is an endless campaign that challenges players to a survival mode. Players are put to the test of their tactical endurance in this mode. Players are put against numerous waves of attacks by monsters that get more difficult and start to become challenging to deal with. The goal of this mode is to see how long the players can survive and adapt their defensive strategies along with using the turrets and shield generators to maximum efficiency.
