Cytoid v2.1.6 MOD APK (Auto Perfect)

Cytoid is a community-driven, open-source rhythm game that invites players to become both participants and creators in a vibrant musical universe. Drawing inspiration from classic scanner-style rhythm mechanics, it offers a platform where the line between the developer and the player is blurred. This documentation provides the technical specifications and installation requirements for the Cytoid MOD APK, a modified build of the application.

Version and Compatibility

This specific build of the Cytoid MOD APK is based on the following verified technical data from the provided package:

• Package Name: me.tigerhix.cytoid.liteapks
• Internal Version: 2.1.1 (build 100107)
• Minimum Android Requirement: Android 5.0 (API 21) or higher
• File Size: 274 MB
• Package Type: Single APK

The file name for this release is Cytoid-v2.1.6-MOD-thinkkers.com.apk. Because this package has been re-signed with a custom digital signature and uses a modified package name, it is not compatible with the version available on the Google Play Store. It cannot be installed as an update over the official application; a fresh installation is required.

How to Install

To install this modified version of the game, follow these steps to ensure the package is recognized by your device:

1. Remove any previous versions of Cytoid installed on your device. The differing digital signatures will prevent the installation of the Cytoid MOD APK if the original version is still present.
2. Navigate to your device’s System Settings, enter the Security or Privacy section, and toggle the option to allow installations from “Unknown Sources.”
3. Locate the downloaded Cytoid-v2.1.6-MOD-thinkkers.com.apk file using a file manager.
4. Tap the file to begin the installation process and follow the on-screen prompts.
5. Once the installation is complete, launch the app. This version does not require additional OBB or data files to be placed in the Android/obb folder.

How This Compares to the Original Release

While the external file name is labeled as version 2.1.6, the verified internal metadata confirms the build is based on version 2.1.1 (build 100107). There are several technical differences between this release and the official store version. Most notably, the package name has been changed to me.tigerhix.cytoid.liteapks, which allows for different identification on the device. Additionally, this version is distributed as a single standalone APK file, whereas many modern official releases use the Split APK (App Bundle) format or require separate OBB data downloads for assets. By packaging everything into a 274 MB file, the installation process is simplified into a single step.

About Cytoid

CYTOID is a unique collaborative project based on a game engine built by an international community of users. It follows an “open source” philosophy, meaning the game is built by, and available to, the public. Users are welcome and encouraged to build on and customize the game content. The game involves a “scanner-style” mode of gameplay where users engage and interact with prompts and notes as a horizontal bar moves across the screen. The players’ understanding of rhythm, coupled with the skill of timing and precision, makes the game popular and enjoyed by players across the globe.

An important part of the game’s history was the release of version 2.0. This was a major shift and change in the game. The developers opted to transform and improve every facet of the game, from the fundamental codes that govern the game to the graphical user interface. The various game modes and options increased significantly, and a rejuvenated and improved game engine and performance was introduced. The user interface and game modes are designed to be modern and sleek. User navigation through the thousands of available songs is made easy by an intuitive and interactive user interface.

Community is what truly defines this experience. Many commercial rhythm games rely on a list of licensed tracks, and as such have a rather fixed catalog. Cytoid lives on variety. At any moment in time, the community has over 4,000 levels available for download. The levels range across all genres and styles of music, from pop to electro, even to classical and experimental. Once the player has mapped a song to the game, they can share it with the rest of the community, who can then go on to download and enjoy the level within Cytoid. The game gives players access to a dynamic and ever-changing ecosystem of user-generated content.

Those looking for a greater challenge can use the rating system to pit their skills against those of the community. The ratings are based on the performance of players across a multitude of levels and tracks. The system rewards precision, and encourages the player to strive for greater accuracy and learn to tackle even more difficult charts.

Finally, for extra replayability, players have the option to compete with the community at large for the highest rating on levels. The game gives players the choice of many rating systems to incorporate into a given track, all based on user submissions.
